You are located at: MarMSX >> Courses >> Games >> Alcatraz   Alcatraz is a brazilian game published in the 80's [1], where you are a prisioner trying to escape from Alcatraz, a former american maximum security prision.
This is an "adventure" game, where the player interacts using cursors and written commands.

At the beginning, the priosioner is inside his cell. He can be moved using the cursors until an obstacle blocks him.
Through the prision maze, many objects can be found which helps you on the way out of Alcatraz. Use "SELECT" key to discribe the local objects and "ESC" to tell what you are carrying.
The actions are performed via input keyboard comands. The words must be related to the game dictionary and respect the following syntax:
VERB + NOUN + <preposition> + NOUN
Where the preposition is optional and the nouns may be one or two. Never use articles.

  An action example: TAKE SHOVEL

Actions with more than one noun: OPEN BARS KEYS or OPEN BARS WITH KEYS

Important note: the english version accepts two verbs with preposition: "TURN ON" and "GO INTO", which are separated with space.
